Pretty Little Thing by Kourtney Kardashian

Hi Everyone! Quick disclaimer – these photos are all taken from the Pretty Little Thing website and I do not claim any credit! If you’re remotely interested in fashion and/or the Kardashians, I’m sure you’ll have heard about Kourtney Kardashian’s new collection with Pretty Little Thing. I’ve been really excited about this collection since the first time I ever heard the rumour. I’m a mega PLT fan and I’ve always loved Kourtney’s style. Personally, I think she’s the coolest of the Kardashian clan and I like how her outfits are pretty casual and trendy, a nice breather from how extra her sisters are! Now this is probably an unpopular opinion but I was really let down by the collection… I just think it doesn’t reflect Kourtney’s personal style and honestly some of the items look quite tacky. That being said, there are a couple of gems that I need in my life! I’ve got a top 3 and a worst 3 that I’m going to share now!

Starting with the positives, this is potentially my favourite outfit from the collection, it’s such a cool Co-ord! The flared trousers are so on trend and the black and gold pattern adds something extra that definitely pulls the look together. The matching top is so cute and a flattering cut. The basic style of the top makes up for the vivacious pattern, which means the outfit all together isn’t too much! The top costs £8.00 and the trousers are £25.00 and I think £33 is pretty reasonable for this piece!

I feel like this dress is quite a controversial piece and people will either love it or hate it. I really don’t like how it’s styled and I think a plainer belt and another button done up would look much better but as a dress, I love it. Its so cool and such a nice colour but you need to be brave to wear it! It’s also pretty reasonably priced at £25.00.

This jacket is insaaaane! I love the colour of it and it’s such a perfect winter fur jacket. I don’t actually own anything like this but I really think this may end up in my wardrobe soon… It costs £75 which is pricey but not bad for a faux fur jacket.

Okay so onto the ones I don’t like. This is just personal opinion and I don’t want to offend anyone but I absolutely despise the cycle shorts trend. They just aren’t flattering and it’s camel toe central. Why does it need to be fashionable? To be fair, I know a couple of girls that really pull them off but in my personal opinion they just aren’t okay. These ones annoy me particularly because they are gold and sparkly. Why. Anyway, they cost £12.00

I’m sorry but what is this. To me it looks like some sort of weird kinky, seductress underwear. Imagine wearing this on a night out, I couldn’t. The colour as well, it’s so unflattering. I’ve got nothing good to say about this so lets just leave it at it costs £25.00.

Okay, I do think the idea of this jacket is kind of cool and maybe it would look better in person but from the photos it looks so tacky and badly made. The embezzlement just looks glued on. It costs £75.00 but I’m sure you could get a £20.00 version in Primark.

Anyway, that’s my take on the collection. I’m not trying to offend anyone and if you like any of the items I don’t thats totally fine, it’s just my personal opinion. I hope you enjoyed this post, much love, Cat x
